Banana Bread Brulee Cookies
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup mashed very ripe banana
- important – not ½ cup
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 3 tbsp white sugar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ½ cup + 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- Pinch salt
- Pinch cinnamon optional
- 2 –3 tbsp chocolate chips optional
Instructions
- Heat oven
- → 350°F / 175°C
- Line a tray.
- Mash + mix
- Mash the banana, then mix in:
- brown sugar
- melted butter
- vanilla
- Add dry
- Stir in:
- flour
- baking soda
- cinnamon
- salt
- Fold in extras
- (chocolate / nuts etc.)
- Scoop
- Scoop small mounds (they spread a little).
- Bake
- 👉 10–12 minutes
- They should look set on the edges, soft in the centre.
- Cool 5 minutes
- They firm up slightly and get that banana-bread-like crumb.
- Add Korean Brown Sugar and torch the top
